Michael Todd is one of the dopest pastors of today’s time. The way he breaks down his sermons is remarkable. He’s blazed a path for millennials to know what God really has for them .
Yesterday he spoke about how we have so little funds but we know we are destined for greatness. He spoke about being planted by God while being underfunded . Money is a monetary thing but everyone needs it. Money is what makes the world go round right?
Money is like a seed. When you invest in stocks…You want your stock to multiply right? You want your stock to grow . Just like when you plant a seed in your garden, you also want that to grow. Nobody wants their seed to stay the same. The same environment that you plant a seed in , is the same area that looks buried. When you look at something planted and something that was buried they tend to look the same. When your going through that season they tend to look the same. But what God is telling us is that your life may look buried, it may look dead , but God is planting us. Under doesn’t mean over.
God is developing roots in you so that when the enemy comes against you …You are able to stand firm in what God is calling you to do.
Under doesn’t mean over.
Let’s talk about Being Planted and Underfunded.
God is looking for people who have faith to believe that they can exceed their limitation. He allows you to be under so your faith can grow .God doesn’t bless who you pretend to be.
PhillipIan’s 4:19 But My God, will supply all my needs.Don’t blame the place for the provision for being stagnant and having no vision. Thats why so many of us want to move to LA,NY,Etc etc. Because we feel that a place will fill our purpose. But the same God that’s here with you will be where your trying to move . Millennials won’t stay planted long enough to see where those roots are. But God is doing something IN you in this season.
Organize even when you feel overwhelmed . The disciples took the little bit they had and gave it back to God. When the disciples had 5 loaves of bread and only 2 fish . Jesus blessed and broke it and gave it back to the disciples in mutliplication.
What will you do with the little God has given you?
When your planted and underfunded…Don’t eat your seed. What do you spend the majority of your money on? Will you depend on God?
As the disciples kept giving away..God kept multiplying the seed in their hands. It’s not about the outcome it’s about their obedience. They all ate..as much as they wanted . God is not asking you to do it so He can leave you depleted. Stop listening to the lie that your buried. You are being rooted .
